Book of the Week #1 – “Have You Filled a Bucket Today?”

Hi!! I’m Mandee Turrell and this month is  National Library Lover’s Month! I plan to highlight a book each week this month that your family may enjoy! The first book I have chosen is titled “Have You Filled a Bucket Today?”.

The author is Carol McCloud.

This book encourages kindness, appreciation, and positive behavior. It explains how all of us can “fill a bucket” for someone by showing kindness and love.

This book also explains ways that we can be bucket dippers or take someone’s joy. It is full of illustrations that are vivid and engaging so that all ages will enjoy. This book is written in a repetitive way, this allows young readers the ability to read it for themselves. But it is also a great book for older kids as it shows the value of giving of ourselves to others.

I have read this book to many different grade levels from pre-k to 8th grade over the years. Every class loves it. It is a great book for teaching daily happiness.

Please enjoy the reading of “Have You Filled a Bucket Today?” below.

If you would like to read this book, check it out at your local library, purchase at your local bookstore, or here on Amazon!
